Aircast AirSelect Elite BOOT OR CAM

Aircast AirSelect Elite BOOT OR CAM

Experience elite ankle and foot support with the Aircast AirSelect Elite walking boot. Advanced Aircell technology provides superior comfort, stability, and faster injury recovery. Perfect for fractures, sprains, and post-surgical protection—move confidently every step.

The Aircast AirSelect Elite is a walking boot, engineered to provide protection, comfort, and edema control.

  • Stable fracture of foot/ankle/lower leg
  • Severe ankle sprain
  • Post-operative immobilization
  • Reduction of edema (swelling)

The Elite has a durable, semi-rigid shell that helps support the limb while providing full-shell protection. Overlapping Duplex aircells line the shell providing intermittent pneumatic compression for edema reduction. The front panel is pre-inflated and combined with the overlapping aircells, provides a 'total contact' fit. SoftStrike technology absorbs and dissipates shock, while the light weight rocker sole combine to encourage a natural gait and a continuation of everyday activities.

Features & Benefits

    • Integrated inflation system (NO separate hand bulb). Integrated inflation system puts the patient in control for an individualized fit.
    • Non-marking, skid resistant rubber tread. For greater traction and longer wear
    • Duplex technology
    • SoftStrike technology. Absorbs and dissipates the energy during heel strike. Reduction of heel pain
    • Low profile optimized rocker sole. The rocker sole, enables a normal walking gait with less forefoot angulations’ and reduces hyperextension of the knee.
    • Toe-off section continues the rocking motion, enhancing mobility. Mid-stance section is designed to minimize hip differential
    • Trimmable and heat moldable semi-rigid shell. Makes it easy to custom-fit the brace to the patient for a more comfortable fit. Sleek, open-frame design provides ventilation and patient protection and compliance. Shell contours around the malleoli, eliminating pressure for sustained comfort. AirSelect boots have improved width around the ankle area as well as uniformed sizing throughout the various sizes of the boot (XS-XL).
    • Three-strap system. Evenly disperses pressure and helps reduce pooling of edema. Ease of application.

Warnings/Precautions

Do not over-inflate aircells. Improper aircell inflation may cause significant skin irritation, especially in people with diabetic neuropathy (a diabetic nerve condition). Check your skin frequently for “hot spots” and skin irritation. If you see any skin changes or feelings of discomfort, reduce the aircell compression. Do not use this device if you cannot feel sensations whether due to post-op anesthesia, nerve, skin or other conditions. Use caution when walking on slippery or wet surfaces to avoid injury.

Provide protection and comfort while controlling edema with the most advanced pneumatic walking boot available. The AirSelect™ Elite is clinically proven to be effective in healing fractures and managing edema. The front panel is pre-inflated and combined with the overlapping aircells posterior and distal aircells for a “total contact” fit; the integrated inflation system allows patients to easily adjust aircell pressure themselves without a pump. A sleek, durable, semi-rigid shell helps support and protect the limb, and the lightweight, lab-tested rocker sole encourages a natural gait and supports everyday activities. SoftStrike technology absorbs and dissipates shock.

Ideal for: Specifically designed for stable fractures of the lower leg, foot, and ankle; severe ankle sprains; and post–operative use.

The Aircast AirSelect Elite is a premium pneumatic walking boot designed for stable fractures, severe sprains, and post-operative recovery. It features an integrated inflation system that provides "total contact" fit and helps reduce swelling (edema) up to three times faster than traditional braces

nflate: Turn the selector dial on the right side to the desired air cell (1 for right, 2 for left, 3 for back). Cover the small hole on the large pump with your finger and press/release until it feels snug. Set the dial to "Lock" once finished.
Deflate: Turn the dial to the specific air cell number and press the small release button until the pressure is comfortable

We recommend wear an Aircast sock or a long cotton/cast sock. This absorbs moisture, reduces odours, and prevents skin irritation or blisters.

Liner: Hand-wash the foam liner in cool water (86°F/30°C) with mild detergent. Air-dry only; never use a dryer or heat source as it can damage the materials.
Shell: Wipe down the plastic outer shell with a damp cloth and mild soap or alcohol wipes.

Higher pressure offers more support while walking, whereas lower pressure is typically more comfortable when sitting or reclining. Do not over-inflate.

At high altitudes, air cells may expand. It is recommended to deflate the cells and loosen the straps during airline flights to prevent excessive pressure.

The boot is not waterproof. Avoid soaking it and use caution on wet or slippery surfaces
