Features

When should I NOT wear the belt?
- Never wear the belt over an unreduced hernia (a bulge that you cannot gently push back inside).
- Never use it if you suspect a strangulated hernia (trapped tissue causing severe pain, nausea, or discoloration). This requires immediate emergency medical attention
Does this belt cure a hernia?
No. A hernia belt might only manages symptoms and prevents protrusion temporarily. Surgical repair is the only permanent cure for a hernia
Lie down for 10 minutes before putting it on so the hernia naturally slides back into the abdomen.Position the removable foam pads inside the belt so they line up exactly over your hernia site. Remove the pad on the unaffected side if you only have a single hernia.Wrap the soft waistband around your hips and secure the hook-and-loop closure.Bring the perineal straps from behind, pass them between your legs, and fasten them to the front buckles.
Adjust the tension until you achieve firm but comfortable pressure. The belt should be tight enough to REreduce the likelihood of the hernia from popping out, but not so tight that it cuts off circulation or causes pain. If the waistband rolls up, it is either too tight or sized incorrectly.
You can wear it during the day while standing, walking, or doing physical activities. Do not wear it while sleeping unless explicitly instructed by your surgeon or physician
