The Medline Exo-Cath External Latex Male Catheter (DYND12302) is a non-invasive external condom catheter designed to manage male urinary incontinence. This specific part number represents the Medium size (30 mm). Each unit includes a separate double-sided foam adhesive strap to securely fix the flexible latex sheath to the penis shaft.

Maintenance & Removal
  • How often must this catheter be replaced?
Change the catheter daily (every 24 hours). This is a non-sterile, single-use disposable product; reusing it increases your risk of skin infection.
  • How do I remove the adhesive strap painlessly?
Slowly roll the sheath forward off the penis. Pressing a warm, damp washcloth against the adhesive for 30 seconds softens the grip. You can safely clear any remaining sticky residue with soap and water or an adhesive remover wipe.
  • Can I use barrier creams or lotions underneath?
No. Creams, oils, and body powders form a barrier that destroys the adhesive bond, causing the catheter to slide off prematurely
Safety & Contraindications
  • Is the DYND12302 safe for individuals with latex sensitivities?
No. This model is explicitly made from natural rubber latex. If you experience redness, itching, or swelling, discontinue use immediately and switch to a 100% silicone external catheter.
  • When should an external catheter not be used?
Do not apply over skin that is raw, blistered, or compromised. It is also entirely contraindicated for mechanical urinary blockages or acute urinary retention, which require an internal Foley or intermittent catheter

Use a physical sizing guide or measuring tape to check the diameter of the penis shaft at its widest point (just behind the glans). If your measurement matches or is closest to 30 mm, select this Medium size

f the 30 mm diameter is too loose, urine will pool inside the sheath and bypass the adhesive seal, resulting in immediate leaks and skin breakdown. Switch to the Small 25 mm variant (DYND12303) if needed

A catheter that constricts the shaft can restrict local blood flow and cause skin damage. If it is too snug, upgrade to the Large 35 mm variant (DYND12301)
